History

Based on provided third-party information, the earliest map dated 1890 showed the majority of the site to be residential property. By 1951, an electrical engineering works occupied the central section of the site and two ‘ruins’ (possibly World War II bomb damage). By 1970, the ruins were no longer shown, and Heating and Ventilation works were marked in the south-eastern section of the site. The school building and remaining residential properties were demolished and the site had expanded by 1989 and occupied by Sulzer until 2020.
